It seems a little strange that losing weight can induce feelings of fear . Fear does not seem to have a place in such a constructive process . Usually weight loss is associated with feelings both positive and negative . The positive feelings are more obvious and understandable. You feel better , have more energy , look better , fit better clothes , etc. However, are you aware that negative feelings about your life changing process are also normal?
Weight gain happens for a reason and it's not all about the familiar hand to mouth movements . It is not just food , this is what's behind overeating. Smaller weight gains can usually be attributed to just bad eating habits and exercise. However, a large weight gain is almost always associated with something much deeper. Gaining weight is camouflage. It allows you to disappear in society , which can make you feel more secure. The key is to understand what you are hiding from ? Is there a trauma in your life that needs to be addressed ?
Conversely, when you begin to understand why you gained weight , you must also respond to your feelings that you succeed in your weight loss efforts . It is a journey that will take time and patience . You can pick up and have to restart . You may lose motivation and need help to get back on track. You can not fall off the wagon , you can run a premeditated jump off the wagon. These actions can all be associated with fear .

If a personal trainer is not an option to team up with a friend who has successfully lost weight and is ready to help you stay on track with exercising every day . Share food magazines. · Writing a daily newspaper. Emotions locked in your mind become bigger and bigger over time which then become almost impossible to control . Everything starts with a thought ! The simple act of writing helps you understand why you feel what you feel and releases negative energy.
· Monitoring statements . After the release of negative emotions, followed by assertions. It is important to fill the space with a positive turn around . Give your brain something good to dwell on the company .
· Take quiet time . Often our lives are so busy that we do not have time to breathe , let alone think. Give yourself 15 minutes a day to relax and let go of the mental stress.
