A Winning CAUSE. Kirstie Alley Shares Her Mantra For Weight Loss Success

In his role as star Jenny Craig, Kirstie Alley inspires and encourages customer men and women across the country to improve their health, energy and self-confidence by decreasing their weight.

"As soon as I saw the first TV commercial Kirstie , I felt as if she was talking right to me ," said Annette Blake of Kingston , NY , who joined Jenny Craig in January and has since lost 56 pounds * . " I decided to
be the " I'm fat , too "touchy right and lose weight with it . And so far, I am! "

As Annette , Kirstie is over 60 pounds * thinner and less than 20 pounds to go to reach their desired weight. The award-winning actress and mother of two attributes her success not only to the program and its consultants, but also to the following acronym that helped "steer the ship " along his journey of weight loss.

"I think the greatest achievement anyone can achieve is to be the cause of something, rather than the effect ," Alley said at a recent gathering of friends and fans in New York. " A cause is something were to happen , ideally , a positive result , such as losing weight , find someone amazing or get a new job. This puts you in a position of control and confidence, rather than reaction and the reluctance . "

• Change - I first had to change a few perceptions : one , being big is just something that comes with age , and two , that losing weight involves suffering , deprivation and working 30 to 40 hours per week. Once I changed my mind , I was ready to take a leap of faith.

• Attitude - For a moment , I had the less-than- fantastic attitude that it would be 70 pounds overweight, as the man of my dreams would love me for me and do not care if I was big . While this may be true ... I finally realized that was not the point of view of someone else from me, but my vision of myself and that I could make me happy.

• Understanding - We all have unique talents and attributes. Most of them are good , those who are not , we have the ability to change. Realizing that the positives outweigh the negatives helped me appreciate what is unique about me and also helped me to identify areas of personal improvement .

• Meant spirituality This has resulted in strengthening my faith and increasing connection to people who matter most to me. I can apply my religious beliefs to strengthen me and my body , help my children and friends, and improve my artistic activities.

• Enthusiasm - I now have an abundant amount of inexhaustible energy and boundless enthusiasm . I jump on the trampoline with my kids, I run and play with them, and my happiness and the joy of living permeate their lives as well.
